Description
A sole figure walks through a gritty tunnel where the sandstone is covered in graffiti, the man's silhouette can be seen as he approaches the light at the end of the tunnel. The ceiling of the tunnel is slightly illuminated by hanging lights and litter is scattered across the footpath reminding the viewer of the urban setting of this photograph. The use of black and white is the artist's way of paying homage to Henri Cartier-Besson.

A great sense of foreboding in this shot, beautiful light and texture! The mystery of what's at the other end of the tunnel, although, if this is NYC, probably a hot dog cart!
Kaleidoscopik Photography replied:
Cheers Steve, the light was just bouncing off those sandstones wall perfectly and begged to be captured. Took a while for person to walk through though. Although this is Sydney, there was still most likely a fast food stall at the other end, only the elderly gentleman in the shot will know.
