Description
On a recent photographic trip along the photogenic east cost of Tasmania, Australia, I ventured to Freycinet National Park. Situated on a pan handle peninsula the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean pound its shores from the East whilst the relatively calmer waters of Great Oyster Bay lap its shores from the west.
This particular shot was taken in a smaller section of the Great Oyster Bay known as Coles Bay where a river inlet flows into the bay.The calm waters of this inlet paired with the heavy fog that has descended on the bay emanates a sense of unease, of foreboding for what may await on the other side. The atmosphere of this shot is unnerving and yet strangely enticing.

Great composition. I love the angle of the tree leaning towards the channel and the b&w treatment. l/f
